Daytona Bike Week 2006
Here we had a few more Main Street madness shots... then down to
the notorious Hess station off International Speedway Blvd. That
spot really gets cranked up around 11PM with tons of interesting
sport bikes. I suspect that if you stuck around until after 2AM,
you might also find yourself a serious street race.
The next morning, we were back to the Speedway to check out
some other vendors and cover some ground Greg missed. I couldn't
believe my eyes when I saw the 1982 GS1100ES tuna boat! That thing
brought back some nostalgia of my first street bike... but much
nicer... and much more stock than mine was.
That thing must have fallen out of a time capsule somewhere. Loved it!
Oh, in case you didn't observe the Buell demo dollies.... wow.
The Chevy girls were nice, but the Buell girls won, hands down,
the group hottie award. Greg swore up
and down that the Ducati tent would have even better scenery, but
for some reason we never found the Ducati tent. WTF?!? Did
Ducati give up on BIKE WEEK?!?! Maybe we just got lost in the
sea of bikes and boobs.
